Will this affect access to any of the ancient indian or game trails?

The area they are looking at is just south of Dardanelle right off 108.  N 38.29741 and W -119.82157

I'm going to assume this area is above Salt Springs Reservoir, near Bluehole.  I remember years ago (70's?), someone talking about that area, saying there were some kind of troughs or something that they thought were made by Indians.  The term "Native American" was not PC yet.  Yes, there is a "Salt Springs" south of Dardanelle, which I have tasted (kind of brackish), but I'll bet it's the other one.

Here's a link:  http://pubs.usgs.gov/sir/2009/5225/  If you look closely at the back of the photo, you'll see that it is close to the waterline of a reservoir, which is Salt Springs, which is on the Moke.  You can even see the holes on Google Earth, at the south end of the east end of the reservoir.  Quite an impressive setup!  Tom.

Fred was it you that was with me at Eastmen when we found the large round rock like a big marble, in the bottom of one of these holes (baseness) there? We were told that a rock get stuck in the hole and the force of the water makes it go roundy round untill the hole is large and the rock is beat to a pebble? Cool (TROG) cave man rock stuff  Grin. Makes me dizzy  Roll Eyes.
