Are these just new paths the horses are taking or is someone doing work out there?

Both. Some trails appear to have been there quite awhile, just not marked on the map. Some are newly worked. and some are horse paths. All are ridable in both directions, except the pink dotted trail (Waterfall?) Yesterday was the the first time I tried it downhill. It was more ridable than expected.

The pink trail (worked) next to the number 4 is the smoothest climb out from the south side and a nice break from always going out on the west end (#6)

The blue trail "discovered" yesterday has been there. It's not perfectly smooth but easier than some rocky climbs of Old Stage trail.
