Thinking of investing in one to lighten my bike up for the sea otter dh... 218 grams total and all the adjustments you can possibly want.

What's the word on these bad boys?

rear shock.  c'mon george, 218 grams for a fork?  what are you smoking?  i have heard good things about the air shock,  durability seems to be a concern though.  i know that the fox rp23 seems to be holding up for most of the guys on their 6 guns.

I've read some really good reviews on this shock on MTBR.com and some not so good ones on the Fox RP2 / RP23... and I would also like to support a manufacturer that's not necessarily the 'status quo' like Fox.

I just wanted to hear what the boys of TROGS had to say about it!

Joel, I love my 02PVA. The shock towers over the coil vanilla R in performance. I dont think the PVAs have the durrabillity issues that the DHX 5.0 was known for. The PORPEDAL adjustments are a real leg saver.

I'm really leaning towards the PVA. I heard they run at a lot lower psi than fox shox... what pressure are you running for your weight?
